Kathmandu: At least four passengers have died and several are injured in a jeep accident at Waling Municipality-12 in Syangja district on Sunday morning.
The jeep (Ga 1 Ja 7399) en route to Waling Bazar from Dadhakharka plunged some 50 meters off the road at 10 in the morning, according to police.
“Four passengers died on the spot,” confirmed Inspector Padam Raj Thapa, adding that the injured passengers have been sent to Waling Hospital for treatment.
The jeep lost its control and met with an accident.
The identity of the passengers is yet to be ascertained, said police.
