Wami Taksar (Gulmi): Wami Namuna Samaj, a community organization headquartered in Musikot Municipality-7, has distributed food items to the local needy people at Musikot on Sunday.
The program was organized in the presence of Bala Bahadur Chhetri, who is also the coordinator and patron of the organization.
Relief materials were provided to five needy families and handed over to Dala Bahadur Pariyar, Dhana Rupa Kumal, Jaya Bahadur Kumal, Charini Kumal, and Devkala Magar.
The relief package included rice, oil, lentils, potato, corn, and other food stuff. The relief distribution was targeted at the people reeling under food insecurity, said Ramu Kharal, general secretary of the Samaj.
This is an act of serving humanity, said Janak Bahadur Thapa, president of the organization. “Other people should also learn from this type of charity, and donate something to the people in need.”
