Kathmandu: An earthquake has been recorded in Jumla district on Wednesday, the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center said.

The tremor measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale and with its epicenter at Narakot of Jumla occurred at 9:57 am today.

The center said this earthquake is a new tremor and not the aftershock of the Gorkha Earthquake of 2015.
