Kathmandu: Nepal has set a meager 137 runs target against Zimbabwe ‘A’ in the first One-Day International match played in Kathmandu on Friday with a display of a poor batting performance.

Nepal scored 136 runs on the board losing all wickets in 31.1 overs after being put to bat first after losing the toss in the match at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Sompal Kami top-scored for Nepal at 30 runs off 70 balls as Karan KC contributed 25 runs off 36 balls.

Brad Evans of Zimbabwe sent four Nepali batsmen back to the pavilion while Victor Nyauchi, Brandon Mavuta and Cephas Zhuwao grabbed two wickets each.
