Kathmandu: There is a tough competition between Renu Dahal, the alliance candidate from CPN (Maoist Center), and Bijay Kumar Subedi, the UML candidate for Mayor of Bharatpur metropolis.
As per the latest vote count, Dahal is ahead in the mayoral race with 92 votes. So far, Dahal has collected 6,207 votes while Subedi got 6,115 votes.
Meanwhile, independent candidate Jagannath Poudel has got 3,022 votes.
