Kathmandu: Independent candidate Balen Shah is leading by 18,559 votes in the vote counting for Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

As per the latest update, Shah has received 45,982 votes. His closest contestant Sirjana Singh of the Nepali Congress has got 27,423 votes as Keshav Sthapit of CPN-UML is third with 26,454 votes.
