Covid-19: 915 new cases, no fatality recorded in the last 24 hours

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Health and Population recorded 915 new cases of Covid-19 with no fatality in the past 24 hours.

The new cases were confirmed from 6,002 samples tested in various laboratories during the same period. There are currently 5,433 active cases of coronavirus infection in the country.

Among them, 5,275 are in home isolation while 158 are undergoing treatment in institutional isolation. Likewise, 43 were availing treatment in ICU while two were in ventilator support, the Ministry said.

Similarly, 301 persons got rid of the infection during the same period. With this, 970,926 have enjoyed recovery as of now. The recovery rate stands at 98.2 percent.

There are more than 500 active cases in Kathmandu and Lalitpur districts while Kaski had over 200 active cases. Districts having no active cases were Manang, Kalikot, Mugu, Humla, Bajura and Bajhang.
