KUSOM Job and Internship Fair to kick off Aug 22

Kathmandu: KUSOM Job and Internship Fair (KJIF) that is being held on August 22-23 will be witnessing the participation of the highest number of 64 companies this year.

Laxmi Group, Standard Chartered, Chaudhary Group, IME Group, Leapfrog, E-Sewa, Unilever Nepal, Goldstar, Daraz, and Hongfu are among the leading companies that have confirmed their participation in the event. A total of 60 companies attended the event last year.

The organizer is also expecting the participation of 200 students from BBA, BBIS, and MBA of KUSOM.

KJIF which is organized by the Placement Cell of Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM), is an annual flagship event that acts as a bridge between students of KUSOM and corporate houses.

It gives students not only a platform to connect with the company of their choice but also provides employers an opportunity to explore the talent pool of KUSOM, the organizer said in a press release.

“The event aims to derive maximum benefits and provide a win-win solution to both parties,” reads the release.

Since its establishment in 2011, the event has been receiving overwhelming responses from the leading national and multinational companies every year, the organizer said.

The event has been able to achieve its mission of establishing the right connections with the industry which is being reflected in the success rate of placements and feedback given by companies about the event along with the students, further states the release.
