Prachanda, Japanese leader discuss bilateral relations

Kathmandu: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda on Tuesday met the senior leader of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party of Japan Toshihiro Nikai and discussed wide-ranging issues including Nepal-Japan diplomatic relations.

“During the meet, the leaders discussed on a high-level visit to further strengthening Nepal-Japan relation, establishing sisterly relations between cities of the two countries and Japanese assistance in agriculture, hydropower and physical infrastructure,” reads a press release issued by Prachanda’s Secretariat.

The former prime minister who left for Japan on Saturday is returning home on Wednesday.
