Kathmandu: Three members of a family have been found dead in Bajhang district in far western Nepal on Wednesday.
According to police, 22-year-old Gita Parki, her five-year-old daughter, and three-year-old were found hanging from a tree near their house in Bungal Municipality-9, Raru.
A police team from District Police Office was deployed to the incident site after receiving information on Wednesday morning, said Inspector Ramesh Awasthi at District Police Office, Bajhang. Inspector Awasthi said that the incident site is more than 70 km away from the headquarters.
Police inspector Awasthi said that Gita’s husband had recently returned from India. He said they can say if it was murder or suicide only after a detailed investigation.
