Kathmandu: Nepal reported 658 cases and one death related to Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
The new cases were confirmed through 6,643 tests carried out in laboratories across Nepal, it said.
During the period, 456 Covid-19 patients recovered from the disease. With this, the number of active Covid-19 cases reaches 4,296.
So far, the death toll from the virus has reached 11,993. Currently, 4,134 Covid-19 patients are in home-isolation, and 162 in institutional isolation centers.
Similarly, 50 patients have been admitted to intensive care units, one is on ventilator support.
