Kathmandu, Aug 24 (RSS): A total of 487 Covid-19 cases have been reported in the country in the past 24 hours.
The new cases were detected through 4,177 samples tested in various laboratories across the country, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
During the period, 164 Covid-19 patients recovered from the disease.
Currently, the number of active infected is 4,298, of which 4,123 people are in home isolation, 175 are in institutional isolation, 50 are in ICU, and two are on ventilator support.
In the meantime, one person died of Covid-19, taking the death toll to 11,995 so far.
