Kathmandu Metropolis bulldozes illegal structures in front of Kathmandu Mall [With Photos]

Kathmandu: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City on Wednesday demolished illegal structures built in front of the Sundhara-based Kathmandu Mall.

The illegal structures are built by traders–who have rented shutters in the mall owned by the Employees’ Provident Fund.

On Wednesday, a month after issuing a notice to remove illegal structures, the Kathmandu Metropolis demolished the structure with the help of police.

Kathmandu’s Mayor Balen Shah and DIG Mira Chaudhary also reached Sundhara to inspect illegal structures in front of the mall.

Earlier this week, KMC also bulldozed illegal structures built in the Baneshwor area. Here are some of the pictures:
