UML’s Central Committee meeting kicks off, 11 agendas on the table

Kathmandu: The Central Committee meeting of the main opposition party CPN-UML kicked off at the party’s headquarters in Chyasal, Lalitpur on Friday.

Deputy Chief of the UML Publicity and Publication Department Bishnu Rijal said that the meeting has 11 different agendas.

Presenting the political report of party Chairperson KP Sharma Oli, report of the local-level election investigation committee, oath taking and division of duties of central committee members, approving Secretariat meeting decisions and determining criteria for the candidate selection process for coming elections are the agendas of the meeting, said Rijal.

The central committee of the UML is taking place for the first time after the local-level election. The standing committee meeting and politburo meeting of the CPN-UML were held on August 23 and August 25 respectively.
