Narayanghat-Mugling road opens for traffic after landslide cleared

Kathmandu: The Narayanghat-Mugling road section that remained blocked due to landslides since midnight has opened for traffic.

Obstruction on the road was removed and it remains operational since early Saturday morning, according to Chitwan District Traffic Police Office.

Meanwhile, the traffic police have requested everyone to follow lane discipline as there is a lot of traffic on the road since it was blocked overnight.

Due to the upcoming festival of Dashain, there is comparatively more traffic on the road section.

The road section had been blocked due to landslides that occurred in places called Kerabari and 18 Kilo of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29 last midnight.

The section of the road has been blocked for several times this year due to dozens of landslides.
