Unidentified group fires multiple shots at 30-year-old in Sarlahi

Kathmandu: A man has been injured as an unidentified group fired multiple shots at him in Sarlahi district on Wednesday morning.

According to police, Sajan Karki, 30, a resident of Lalbandi Municipality-2, has sustained multiple injuries in his right hand, stomach, and right leg. The local administration, according to police, is preparing to airlift Karki to Kathmandu for further treatment.

Karki is a staff of Sagun Saving and Credit Cooperative, according to police.

Karki was working in his office when a group of three men fired shots at him.

The three men, according to eyewitnesses, came on a motorcycle with Indian number plate.

Police are investigating the case, it said.
