Kathmandu: The death toll in Bajhang jeep accident reached seven on Wednesday evening.
A passenger jeep (Sudurpaschim Province 01-001 Ja 117), carrying 25 passengers, met with the accident at Chiuri in Malta Rural Municipality-4 in Bajhang.
The deceased have been identified as Basanti Dhami Kathayat, 28, a resident of Malta-2, his seven-month-old daughter Dikshita, Samjhana Khadka, of Malta-2, Prachanda Khadka, 14, of Malta-2, Roshan Khadka, 15, of Malta-2, Jharendra Bohora, 40, of Suklaphanta Municipality-7, and Birendra Adhikari, 38, of Suklaphanta-7.
According to police, 18 passengers are injured in the accident. Of them, three passengers are critically injured.
