Death toll from Kapilvastu APF truck accident hits four, three critical

Kathmandu: The death toll from Kaplivastu truck accident hits four as two critically injured died in the course of treatment in Butwal. 

Last night, an Armed Police Force truck lost its control and met with an accident at Banganga Municipality-3 in Kapilvastu. The truck, with registration number Na 1 Ga 554, hit a cycle and pedestrians, police said.

The deceased have been identified as APF Head Constable Ramesh Chaudhary, Assistant Head Constable Ramesh Chaudhary, Constable Janak Chaudhary, and cycle rider Amar Sangrami.

According to police, three injured APF officials are in critical condition. Sub-inspector Gobinda Subedi, Senior Head Constable Kul Bahadur Gharti, and Constable Prem Malla are receiving treatment at the Bhairahawa-based Universal College of Medical Sciences and Teaching Hospital.
