Kathmandu: The Election Commission has scrapped the candidacy of Dr Toshima Karki, a candidate of Rashtriya Swatantra Party in Lalitpur-3.
A meeting of the Election Commission on Saturday decided to scrap her candidacy, citing Dr Karki already holds a position of public benefit.
Dr Karki is an elected member of Nepal Medical Council.
