Kathmandu: The authorities in Qatar have introduced Hayya card, which serves like a visa, for all local and international fans who wish to watch World Cup football events being held in various stadiums of Qatar from November 20.
Hayya card, along with the match ticket, is an entry permit to the State of Qatar and stadium access for the football fans.
International fans will have to confirm their accommodation plans to receive final approval on digital Hayya card.
According to the Embassy of Qatar in Nepal, to get Hayya card and to book accommodation, ticket holders can apply by visiting Qatar2022.qa or by downloading the ‘Hayya to Qatar 2022’ app in their android phones. The Hayya card is operated by the government of State of Qatar and FIFA is not responsible for its application process, issuance and/or use, according to the embassy.
