Qatar Fund for Development sends medical aid to Nepal

Kathmandu: Qatar Fund for Development has sent four tons of Oxygen concentrators and 164 kilograms of Remdesivir injections in assistance for treatment of COVID-19 infected people in Nepal.

The cargo and its documents were handed over by Khalid Abdualla Al-Ibrahim, the first secretary at the Embassy of Qatar, to representatives of Nepal’s Ministry of Health and Population Om Prasad Upadhyaya, Immunization Officer, and SamikshyaThapa, Pharmacy Officer, at Department of Health Services.

The aid is expected to play a pivotal role in promoting the healthcare system and contributing to combating COVID-19 in Nepal.
