Violent activities during elections; police fire warning shots in five districts

Kathmandu: Some violent activities have been reported in some places across the country during the parliamentary and provincial assembly elections on Sunday.

According to police, it fired warning shots to quash clashes in Siraha, Bajura, Chitwan, Dolkha and Rautahat district.

Likewise, voting in 16 polling stations have been postponed. Of these places, voting in five stations have started, while authorities concerned are preparing to resume voting in other stations.
