Nepali Congress leader won for the fourth time beating Rastriya Prajatantra Party leader Rabindra Mishra by just 125 votes.

Kathmandu: Prakash Man Singh, a Nepali Congress leader, has been re-elected from Kathmandu-1.

Singh defeated his closest rival Rabindra Mishra of Rastriya Prajatantra Party by a margin of 125 votes. Singh received 7,143 votes, while Mishra got 7,018 votes.

In the previous general elections in 2074, Singh had defeated Mishra by 818 votes.
