Kathmandu: Sobita Gautam, a candidate of Rastriya Swatantra Party, has been elected from Kathmandu-2.
Sobita Gautam garnered 15,229 votes, while her rival candidate Maniram Phuyal of CPN-UML received 11,555 votes.
Likewise, Kanti Devi Pokharel of Rastriya Prajatantra Party garnered 11,014 votes.
