Kathmandu: Chandra Bhandari has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Gulmi-1.
Bhandari, a candidate of Nepali Congress, defeated Pradeep Gyawali, a candidate of CPN-UML, by a margin of 1,592 votes.
Bhandari received a total of 33,744 votes, while Gyawali got 32,152 votes.
