Kathmandu: Vote counting is underway in Illam district and the contest has become exciting as Nepali Congress and CPN-UML candidates have secured almost equal votes so far.
As of 12.20pm Saturday, NC candidate Dambar Bahadur Khadka has maintained lead by 16 votes.
He secured 28486 votes while CPN-UML leader Subasha Chandra Nembang has got 28470 votes.
