Results of 156 constituencies out, Congress leads winning 51 seats

Nepali Congress has won 51 seats, followed by CPN-UML with 41 seats. Likewise, CPN (Maoist) and CPN (Unified Socialist) and Rastriya Swatantra Party have won 17 seats, 10 seats, and seven seats, respectively.

Kathmandu: As the vote counting for the first-past-the-post electoral system is near end, the Nepali Congress has maintained lead winning seats as of 11:30 AM Sunday.

According to the Election Commission, Nepali Congress has won 51 seats, followed by CPN-UML with 41 seats. Likewise, CPN (Maoist) and CPN (Unified Socialist) and Rastriya Swatantra Party have won 17 seats, 10 seats, and seven seats, respectively. 

The election management body has declared the results of 156 constituencies. 

Similarly, Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has won seven seats, while Janata Samajwadi Party has won six seats.
