Death toll of Jajarkot jeep accident reaches 11 

The accident took place when a jeep (Karnali State 2001 Cha 0429) heading towards Lewa of Chhedagad Municipality-4 from Jewa of ward no. 3 fell some 200 metres off the road.

Jajarkot: The death toll of Jajarkot jeep accident that took place on Monday has reached 11. 

The deceased have been identified as the jeep driver Man Bahadur Raut of Bhagawatimai Municipality-2 in Dailekh district, helper Birendra KC and Ammar Khadka of ward no. 3 of the same municipality, Deepak Adhikari, Nainsara Adhikari, Jaikuwara Budha, Ram Bahadur Budha, Devisara Budha, Amar Adhikari and Nisa Adhikari of Chhedagad Municipality-5 and Bir Bahadur Khatri of ward no. 6 of the same municipality, said Deputy Mayor of Chhedagad Municipality, Chandra Bahadur Thapa. 

The accident took place when a jeep (Karnali State 2001 Cha 0429) heading towards Lewa of Chhedagad Municipality-4 from Jewa of ward no. 3 fell some 200 metres off the road.

Altogether 12 people were travelling in the jeep. Critically injured Jaibhan Adhikari has been sent to Nepalgunj for treatment, added Thapa.
