Kathmandu: Nepal Airlines Corporation has asked all the international passengers arriving in Kathmandu to mandatorily produce Covid-19 International Certificate with bar code or Covid-19 AIP test PCR negative report.

We request our valued customers to adhere to this position strictly, as instructed by Civil Aviation Authority Nepal on December 23, says the notice issued by Nepal Airlines, the state-owned flag carrier.

The move from the national flag carrier comes after a massive surge of Covid-19 cases globally, especially in neighboring country China.

Nepal reported its first Covid-19-related death in 75 days on Saturday. Three people tested positive for the virus in 555 PCR tests on the same day.
