Kanchanrup: Two people died in an accident that occurred on Wednesday morning in Kanchanrup Municipality of Saptari district.
A collision occurred between a Bolero pickup (Pradesh 2-02-001 Cha 0746 ) and a jeep Ba 18 Cha 6617 along the East-West Highway.
According to the District Police Office, Sanjay Chaudhary and Raj Kumari Chaudhary of Duhabi Municipality-3, Sunsari were killed at the incident site.
Twelve people were injured in the accident. The injured were taken to Theliya Hospital in Saptari for primary treatment and then transferred to Biratnagar for further treatment.
