Sudur Paschim Chief Minister Shah secures vote of confidence

Kathmandu: Sudur Paschim Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah on Sunday secured a vote of confidence in the Provincial Assembly.

A motion tabled by Shah seeking confidence received 41 votes. Likewise, a total of 11 lawmakers voted against the motion.

In the provincial assembly meeting, a total of 52 lawmakers were present.

Shah was appointed the Chief Minister last month as the leader of the largest party in the provincial assembly as then chief minister Rajendra Singh Rawal failed to secure a vote of confidence.
