Nepali Congress to issue whip to its lawmakers to vote for Prachanda

Kathmandu: The Nepali Congress has decided to issue a whip to its lawmakers to vote for Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ during the latter’s floor test in parliament scheduled for Monday.

A meeting of the parliamentary party on Sunday decided to issue a whip to its lawmakers to vote for Dahal. 

“Nepali Congress has decided to issue a whip to its lawmakers,” said Ramesh Lekhak, chief whip of the party.

Likewise, the party has also decided to join the Prachanda-led government after giving a vote of confidence to the prime minister.
