Helicopter makes force landing near Dhaulagiri Base Camp; pilot safe

Kathmandu: A helicopter belonging to Everest Air has crashed near Dhaulagiri Base Camp, it has been learnt.

The chopper force landed, the District Police Office, Myagdi confirmed. “The chopper took off at 11 AM, and it made a forced landing shortly.”

“The chopper had just one pilot, and he is in safe condition. The pilot has been airlifted to Kathmandu through another chopper,” according to the District Police Office.
