Four Indians killed in road accident in Sindhuli

The accident occurred at around 12:30 AM when the car with an Indian number plate (BR 06 DD -687) went out of control. The car was carrying five passengers.

Kathmandu: Four Indian nationals lost their lives in a car accident in Kamalamai municipality-3, Gadhigate in Sindhuli, along the BP Highway in the wee hours of Wednesday. 

The accident occurred at around 12:30 AM when the car with an Indian number plate (BR 06 DD -687) went out of control. The car was carrying five passengers, all of whom were Indian nationals. The deceased are all male, while one more traveler is in critical condition and has been brought to Kathmandu for further treatment.

Superintendent of Police (SP) at the District Police Office, Rajkumar Silwal, said that one body has been kept at Sindhuli Hospital, while the other three have not yet been retrieved from the accident site. 

The car fell approximately 500 meters off the road, and it has been extremely difficult for rescuers to retrieve the bodies.

Nepal Police has sought support from the Nepal Army for retrieving the remaining bodies, and a team is currently heading to the site. The identities of the deceased have not yet been ascertained.
