Kathmandu: Rastriya Swatantra Party has expelled its lawmaker Dhaka Kumar Shrestha from the party on Wednesday.
A central committee meeting of the party decided to expel Shrestha after an audio recording revealed that he asked for a bribe from medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai.
The tape revealed that he asked for Rs 20 million from Prasai to become health minister and bring policy reforms that would help Prasai.
