Nepal reports 136 Covid-19 cases

Kathmandu: Nepal in the last 24 hours reported a total of 136 Covid-19 cases from 1,424 tests conducted across the country. 

According to the ministry, the new cases were confirmed through 197 RT-PCR and 1,227 antigen tests, with 34 cases found positive in PCR and 102 in antigen tests. 

There were no new deaths in the last 24 hours, and the Covid-19 death toll stands at 12,022. 

The number of infected people who have recovered from the disease so far is 989,684, with 68 people recovering in the last 24 hours, leading to a recovery rate of 98.7 percent. The number of active cases stands at 401.
