NP Saud sworn in as foreign minister

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Sunday has appointed Narayan Prasad Saud, a Nepali Congress leader, as the Minister for Foreign Affairs. However, the Dahal-led cabinet is still incomplete.

The newly-appointed minister has been administered the oath of office and secrecy today itself.

Following his swearing in, Saud said that he will start preparations for Prime Minister Dahal’s visit to India. Dahal is expected to visit India in mid-May.
