Dang: Two individuals lost their lives in Dang district as a result of a collision involving a truck.
According to Rajan Gautam, the DSP of the District Police Office in Dang, the accident occurred when a truck (Lu 2 Kha 381), travelling from Bhairawa to Tulsipur, collided with a motorcycle with registration number Lu 73 Pa 1162, which was travelling in the same direction, in Ghorahi Sub-metropolis 11.
The incident resulted in the deaths of two individuals who were on the motorcycle – 26-year-old Sandesh Basnet of Khaira, Ghorahi-11, and 17-year-old Gopal BK.
Basnet passed away during treatment at the Rapti Institute of Health Sciences, while BK died on the spot. According to the police, the truck collided with the motorcycle while attempting to overtake it.
