Vote counting update of Bara-2: Upendra Yadav takes initial lead

Kathmandu: Vote counting process has started in Bara-2. Currently vote count of Karaiyamai Rural Municipality and Subarnapur Municipality is underway, according to the officials. 

Upendra Yadav of Janta Samajwadi Party has taken an initial lead in the vote counting. Yadav has secured 224 votes while Shiva Chandra Kuswaha of Janamat Party has garnered 170 votes. Similarly, UML candidate got 166 votes. Ramesh Kharel of Rastriya Swatantra Party has got 80 votes. 

Upendra Yadav of JSP, Purushottam Paudel of UML, Shiva Chandra Kuswaha of Janamat Party, and Ramesh Kharel of RSP are the main contenders in the elections from the Bara-2.
