One critically injured as helicopter carrying five crashes in Sankhuwasabha

Kathmandu: A helicopter crash in Sankhuwasabha district has left all five individuals on board injured, with one critically injured. The Simrik Air helicopter was transporting construction materials for the Upper Arun hydropower project when it crashed into a tree in Siprarung. 

According to Wang Cheddar Lama, chair of Bhothola Rural Municipality, all five individuals on board have been flown to Mediciti Hospital in Kathmandu for treatment. 

The cause of the crash is currently unknown, and authorities have dispatched a team to the crash site to investigate the incident.
