House adjourned for 20 minutes as CPN-UML obstructs 

The session was obstructed after UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli was accused of involvement in a corruption scandal regarding the gold jalhari at the Shiva Linga inside Pashupatinath temple.

Kathmandu: The parliamentary session on Friday was adjourned for 20 minutes due to obstruction from the main opposition party. 

The CPN-UML obstructed the session after Maoist lawmaker Rajan Dahal accused UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli of involvement in a corruption scandal regarding the gold jalhari at the Shiva Linga inside the sacred Pashupatinath temple. 

Then, the CPN-UML obstructed the House session. Following chaos in the House, Speaker Devraj Ghimire decided to adjourn the session for 20 minutes. 

Today, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has a schedule to address the questions raised about the government’s policies and programs in the parliament.
