Kathmandu: A woman was killed after being hit by a truck at Kalanki-14 in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
The woman, identified as Santu Maya Raut, 64, a temporary resident of Chandragiri-14, who was critically injured in the incident, died in the course of treatment at Bir Hospital..
According to police, the truck with registration number Su Pa 01-001 Kha 2941 hit the scooter (Ba 02-004 Pa 4703) in which she was riding.
Police have already arrested the truck driver for further investigation into the case.
