Kathmandu: A couple, Tilakram Vediyar and his wife Nirmala Vediyar, both aged 50, were discovered dead in Majuwa of Pratapur Rural Municipality-8 in West Nawalparasi on Tuesday.
The District Police Office’s spokesperson, Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhoj Raj Pandey, confirmed the incident.
The bodies were recovered in close proximity to the couple’s buffalo shed and had injuries inflicted by a sharp object, said police.
Police are currently conducting an investigation into the case.
