Butwal: One person was killed and five others were injured in a jeep accident at Tillotama in Rupandehi. The deceased has been identified as Bikash Shrestha, 32, driver of the vehicle. He is from Chatra Dev Rural Municipality-6 in Arghakanchi district.
The ill-fated jeep with registration number Ba 20 Cha 1438 en route to Butwal from Bhairahawa lost its control and met with the accident.
The injured are Sushan Shrestha, 17, Biplav Shrestha, 18, Surendra Shrestha, 45, Bigyan Shrestha, 31, and Bishal Shrestha, 35.
The injured are receiving treatment at Chauraha Hospital in Butwal.
