Kathmandu: Kathmandu District Court on Friday issued an order to send 16 of the accused, including former ministers Bal Krishna Khand and Top Bahadur Rayamajhi and Secretary Tek Narayan Pandey, to central jail in the fake Bhutanese refugee scam.
The bench, presided over by Judge Prem Prasad Neupane, issued the order to that effect, denying their release on bail. The most infamous fake refugee scam has triggered outrage across the nation.
