Free medical camp organized in Godawari

Kathmandu: Embassy of Pakistan in collaboration with Nepal-Pakistan Friendship and Cultural Association (NPFCA) organized 18th Free Medical Camp at Shree Siddheshwor Basic School, Godawori, Lalitpur on Saturday. The Free Medical Camp was jointly inaugurated by Umair Ali, Charge d’ Affaires of Pakistan embassy, Dr Manju Ratna Sakya, President of Nepal-Pakistan Friendship and Cultural Association (NPFCA), Gajendra Maharjan, Mayor of Godawari Municipality and Raj Ghimire, ward chair of Godawari Municipality-3.

Nepali doctors and para-medical staff (who had graduated from various medical institutions of Pakistan) provided free services. Free medical treatment and three months medicines were provided to more than 400 men, women and children.

Umar Ali, Charge d’ Affaires, said that the Free Medical Camp is a reflection of close people-to-people relations between Pakistan and Nepal. He thanked NPFCA, doctors and para-medical staff for upholding the spirit of serving humanity by organizing the free medical camp.
