Alibaba co-founder Jack Ma arrives in Nepal

Kathmandu: Renowned Chinese business magnate and co-founder of Alibaba, Jack Ma, has arrived in Nepal, capturing the attention of business and political circles. 

On Tuesday, at 2:30 pm, Ma touched down at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport aboard a special flight, according to Jhalakram Adhikari, the Director General of the Department of Immigration.

Accompanying Ma on his journey are six crew members, who traveled with him from Bangladesh to Nepal. Ma’s visit has generated significant anticipation, as sources indicate that he has scheduled a meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal during his stay in Nepal.

With his notable entrepreneurial background and success in the global business arena, this visit is expected to forge new avenues for collaboration and mutual growth between China and Nepal.
