Bus accident in Hetauda leaves 49 passengers injured

Kathmandu: A passenger bus met with an accident in Hetauda leaving 49 people injured. 

According to the District Police Office in Makwanpur, the bus with the registration number Na. 6 Kha 9804 was en route from Chitwan to Janakpur and the accident occurred in Nawalpur, Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-11. 

The injured passengers have been receiving treatment, according to the District Police Office in Makwanpur. The injured individuals were rescued and sent to the Hetauda Hospital and Chure Hill Hospital for treatment. 

Out of the injured, 27 individuals are undergoing treatment at Hetauda Hospital, while the rest are receiving treatment at Churehill Hospital. Police said that the bus lost its control and skidded off the road. 

According to police, some of the injured passengers are in critical condition, while the remaining are in stable condition.
