Three children die in Arghakhanchi landslide

Kathmandu: Three children died after a devastating landslide struck Panini Rural Municipality in Arghakhanchi this morning. The victims have been identified as Ranju Raskoti, aged 11, Dhan Bahadur Raskoti, aged 10, and Khum Bahadur Raskoti, aged 12. 

According to the District Police Office in Arghakhanchi, the landslide occurred at 6:30 am, engulfing a house located in Panena of Panini Rural Municipality-1. The landslide left the children critically injured, and despite efforts to save them, they succumbed to their injuries.

Sachin Raskoti, aged 14, was rescued from the debris of the landslide. Sachin has been immediately transferred to Tansen of Palpa for urgent medical treatment, according to Achyut Gautam, outgoing chairperson of the rural municipality.
