Kathmandu: The meeting of the top leaders of three major political parties–Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and Maoist Center–has agreed to remove obstruction in federal parliament, according to the Secretariat of the Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal. The meeting between Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and UML chair KP Sharma Oli that took place at the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar today reached the decision to that effect.

Main opposition CPN-UML and other parties have been obstructing the sessions in both houses–House of Representatives and National Assembly–since Wednesday demanding Prime Minister’s resignation over his remarks suggesting that New Delhi helped him become the executive head.

The House meeting has been scheduled for Monday.
